Every year as Halloween rolls around it’s a challenge to choose an incredibly awesome costume to depict the horrors that this holiday is synonymous with. Even television movies have been influenced by the dark-side of this holiday; movies fitting in name and nature. Scary seem to be inherently all that Halloween is portrayed to be.
Halloween which is also referred to as ‘All Hallows Eve’ came into being eons ago as the Celtics marked the beginning of winter with animal sacrifices, offerings to the dead and bonfires to commemorate the passing of love ones. What a strange thing to celebrate indeed; death and dismay!

Micky Mouse is still a favourite for baby girls while the boys can be outfitted as cutesy little lions complete with adorable manes. For the ladies who still want to ooze sex appeal the cat-woman costume, the generic cat, the queen or the sexy ninja are still at the top of the list. Those who have a thing for the undead, the witch costume complete with broom is still at the top of the list along with Freddy Krueger, Jason Vorhees and zombies.
